Why I Started This Blog:
I started this blog in January of 2021 after years and years of thinking about it (and pushing it off). I’ve always loved clothing and it wasn’t until the pandemic that made me realize it to the extent that I do today. Pretty much overnight, I went from getting dressed to go to the office everyday to working from home in my sweats with no makeup – I actually didn’t brush my hair for an entire month at the beginning of lockdown, blog post to come. Although I don’t mind wearing loungewear all day, I was really feeling the lack of self expression and needed to do something about it. Creating this blog helped me get out of that rut and give me a reason to get dressed every day!

Fashion History:
I’ve loved clothes for as long as I can remember! When I was younger, my mom would dress me and my sisters almost exclusively in Hanna Anderson and I swear that’s where I got my love for colors and patterns. I love flowy fabrics and anything with a bold print. My style is extremely eclectic and I get most of my inspiration from pretty much every decade after the 1950’s and I love to mix and match them depending on my mood.

What I Do For Work:
Because I’m too new at this for anyone to ever think that blogging is my full-time job, it goes without saying that I work full-time. I’m currently a Senior Account Manager at a Digital Marketing agency and I’ve been with my agency since I graduated from college back in 2016. I love my job! I’m certified in all of Google, Microsoft, and Facebook’s products, so I’m down to talk nerdy SEO/SEM stuff anytime.

The Not-So Inside Scoop on my Personal Life:
I currently reside in Salem, MA and yes I love Halloween! I’ve lived in a cozy little apartment with my boyfriend, Shawn, for the past three years and we’ve been together for four. The story of how we met is both funny and embarrassing and I’m sure I’ll share it one day soon. In 2018, we adopted a funny little dog named Winston. He’s a corgi-beagle mix (we think) and the coolest, friendliest dog around. The three of us love taking trips to the mountains and beach and checking out all of the local breweries!
