I placed a clothing order at Target for the first time ever. Yes, ever!

I can’t believe it has taken me so many years to make my first clothing purchase from Target. I’ve always seen other people wearing pieces that I like but never actually looked for myself until last week?

I ended with SO many cute pieces for spring, including this white and green gingham puff sleeve top that I’m OBSESSED with! I love the color and the sleeves are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend. I’ll make sure to share all of the pieces that I purchased!

Trends for Spring – Sweater Vests

It’s official, I’m obsessed with sweater vests! That is actually something I NEVER thought I would say.

Last month, I had a few beers and went down a rabbit hole of shopping on Shein. Once I placed my order, I realized that I had gone ahead and purchased myself FIVE sweater vests. FIVE.

As someone who was pretty anti-sweater vest when I first started seeing the trend, it’s crazy to think that I am now officially someone that loves them. The issue? I didn’t know how I was going to style them! Turns out, I have the perfect v-neck puff sleeve collared top in my closet that just so happens to pair with my vests PERFECTLY. These shoes seriously deserved a post of their own. I mean, LOOK AT THEM!

When I purchased these last week, ASOS was offering an additional 20% and I had to snag them. I’m kicking myself for not grabbing the mules as well, but I may purchase those this week. These are giving me major Y2K/90’s vibes! These are going to be so versatile for all seasons, I can already tell.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted! I have been crazy busy working on my Instagram and need to make an effort to post here more often.

Today is great for a lot of reasons. This morning I hit 3k followers on Instagram AND more importantly, it’s the 3 year anniversary of us adopting Winston! Time has flown but it also feels like we’ve had him forever.

He’s sleeping next to me as I write this and it’s crazy to think how close we’ve gotten in the time we’ve known each other. When we met, I knew he was the dog for us. He was so friendly and cute but it wasn’t until we left the shelter with him that we realized he hated stairs, being picked up, and car rides. Shawn wasn’t with me and I no idea what to do because he physically wouldn’t leave the shelter and get in the car with me! I’m so glad I was able to convince him to come home with me because I’d like to think he’s having a good time. He’s such a love bug and I don’t know what I’d do without him as my little side kick. Happy 3 years to us and Winston!
